Dr. Rob Nelson is the Global Portfolio Marketing Director of Analytics and Artificial Intelligence for GE Healthcare’s $8B Imaging organization. In his role, he is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of all global marketing functions.
Rob has served as a private consultant, senior manager, and executive, leading a dozen different organizations and multiple teams and projects for Fortune 30 and privately held firms including GE Healthcare, Quorum Health Resources, the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), and the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), Motorola, IBM, and Amazon.com. Possessing over 20 years of experience in marketing, business development, strategy, operations, and program management, he is both an Adjunct Professor of Marketing, Strategy and Business Innovation at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) and Associate Professor of Marketing at the Jack Welch Management Institute’s MBA program.
Rob holds an MBA in Strategic Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management and a Doctorate of Business Administration focused on Strategic Marketing from Grenoble Ecole de Management in France. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
